Emergency Pipe Repair

The 3 Minute Fix

UPS 19601/3/4/5/6 PR Emergency Pipe Repair Bandage is a high-performance rapid curing moisture activated repair bandage, specifically developed for the repair of leaking pipes, which is activated by immersion in water.

UPS 19601/3/4/5/6 PR is ideal for pipe repairs to low pressure systems. As a general guide, a repair built up to a thickness of approximately 12mm will withstand a maximum service pressure of 10 bar (150 psi). Higher pressures, up to 50 bar, can be achieved by first applying a ‘plug’ of UPS 19060 SG as described herein, always at users discretion.

The UPS 19601/3/4/5 PR Emergency Pipe Repair Bandage is full WRAS Approval for potable water application, making it ideal for all drinking water applications.

PipeWrap - Live Leak Sealing

PipeWrap has now developed a solution whereby the users can repair leaking pipework without the need of isolating the flow - PipeWrap Live Leak Sealing.

PipeWrap Live Leak Sealing incorporates the use of the UPS 19060 SG Stick Grade Metal to create a 'plug', which is then held in place with the UPS 445/456 TA Leak Stopper. This applies the correct pressure over the 'plug' of UPS 19060 SG Stick Grade Metal. Once the initial cure sets in, the UPS 445/456 Leak Stopper is removed and the final application of the UPS 19601/3/4/5 PR Emergency Pipe Repair Bandage is applied.

All the products required for PipeWrap Live Leak Sealing have been put together in bespoke repair kits - UPS 19500/3/4/5 SPRK Small Pipe Repair Kits.

Extreme High-Temperature Resistant Bandages

Further to the extensive R&D Development at PipeWrap, we have successfully created a high-temperature repair bandage; which can withstand temperatures up to 450°C. This polyurethane based bandage has been now been incorporated with a high-temperature material, keeping the same, simple and straight forward application techniques. Please check out the UPS 1801/3/4/5 PRHT High-Temperature Repair Bandage technical information to the side aside.
